Why Audrey Hepburn Inspires Me

Hello Everyone!
Ever since I was a little girl, the one person who has inspired me is the beautiful Audrey Hepburn. My Mum had the biggest poster of Audrey in her room, and I remember I used to sit in her old bedroom at my Grandma and Grandad's house, just looking and trying to style my hair like hers. As I grew up, I became more aware of who Audrey was and immediately fell in love with her. It was during a conversation with someone a few days ago that inspired me to write this blog post. We were talking about classic Hollywood Stars and I said that Audrey Hepburn was one of my idols, to which they asked "Why's she your idol? All she does is act" when in fact, she did so much more.

The main reason I love and idolise Audrey Hepburn so much is not because she's a talented actress, but because of her effortless elegance. From the way she dressed to the way she composed herself, Audrey always had such class about her. Not once have I ever seen her looking horrible, she always had so much respect for herself, and I think if more females were like that today, society would be happier. Audrey always believed that "Happy Girls are the Prettiest" and this is something to live by. As long as you wear a smile, the world will smile back at you.

Audrey was never one to plaster herself in make-up, she had such a natural, effortless look and I think that this natural beauty is what made people love her so much. Her smile could light up any room she walked into, and she always looked so content and so happy, even when she probably wasn't.

I also admire Audrey for the work she did for Charity. This is something that is always so overlooked. People recognise her for acting in films and stage shows, but they don't recognise her as the amazing ambassador she was for UNICEF. Audrey did so much work for Charity, and frankly, I think that it's something that people should recognise. She had the biggest heart and I really do admire her for this.

Ever though this is something everyone was expecting, I admire Audrey Hepburn because she's such a talented performer. Since being young, I've always loved to act. I remember watching Audrey in the film 'Roman Holiday' and I just idolised her. The way she acted, the way she was, it just inspired me. I also remember hearing her sing for the first time, and I couldn't quite believe how talented this woman was. Everything about her was flawless.

Who Inspires you?
Lots of Love

LALALAB Polaroids (Plus Discount Code)

Hello Everyone!
As you may or may not know, I recently gained a place at University and this means that I'm going to be leaving home for the first time. I wanted to take something with me that would remind me of home and all the great memories I've had but also that was cute and small enough to fit in my room. It was then that I came up with the idea of getting photos turned into polaroids.

I love polaroids! There I said it.
I always think they look so cute and classy, and very cute if you clip them up on fairy lights which is what I plan to do in my new Univeristy room. Because I don't have a polaroid camera, I get my photos developed into polaroids instead. I know that you can do this yourself, but these are professionally printed and in my opinion, look so much better.

To polaroid my photos, I use the app 'LaLaLab' which used to be called 'Polagram'. At first, I ordered the six photos that are shown above, thinking that if I didn't like them, then I didn't have to order anymore. Oh my goodness, they were amazing. They were just the right size, not too big and not too small, and you can add a little caption at the bottom of the photo if you want too. The printing quality is absolutely amazing and they arrived within 5 working days of me ordering them. It costs 28 pence for each photo to be turned into a polaroid, which is the best prices I've seen.

I'll definitely be ordering from 'LaLaLab' again just in time for me to take them all to University with me. If you like this idea, you can download the app HERE and also use my referral code for £3 off your next order! PGFCWIDU

Happy Polaroiding!
Lots of Love,
Meg

Disney Bows | The Cutest Things Ever!!

Hello Everyone!
As many of you know, a few months ago, I went to Disneyland Paris on a girls holiday with three of my friends. Before we went, we decided that we wanted to get something that was really unique that we could wear alongside our Mickey Mouse ears in the park. It was at that point that we came across theses beautiful bows that are made by a lovely lady called Ashley. We immediately knew that these were what we wanted and headed over to her Etsy site to take a look at what she had on offer.

Well, we were literally spoilt for choice. Ashley makes so many different Disney bows, including some that represent the different rides and hotels in the park. It took us a good few hours to decide which bows we wanted, every 5 minutes we said "Oh my God look it's Flounder" or "Oh  my God look it's Belle". In the end we all chose our different bows. Instead of getting the larger bows, we opted for the mini bows because we found a really good deal on her website. Always keep checking her website because she constantly updates it with offers and new bows. As you can tell from the photo above, I opted for the Peter Pan and Mermaid Lagoon Bows.

When they arrived, they were of excellent condition and they looked absolutely gorgeous. It was very clear that so much effort and care had been put into making them. The clips fit in my hair perfectly, however next time I think I am going to get some of the larger bows just because I want a nice mix. Every single one of the bows we received were so well complimented and everyone recognised which character's bow we were wearing. Every single one of the bows represents the character so well and they can only be described as beautiful. I'm definitely going to be starting a collection of Disney bows because they're just so cute and I cannot get enough of them

If you're a Disney fanatic or are going on holiday to Disney soon then I would recommend getting some of these bows for your trip because they're perfect and they make the experience just a little more fun and magical. You are guaranteed to find your favourite character on her website, and if not, she takes custom orders too so you're not too worry.
