How to Maintain a Full Fringe

It's January 2017 which means it's the time of year when people crowd into the hair dressers and demand a complete makeover. It's all about the new year, new me. January is the most common season for people to change their appearance, and you'll notice that a lot of people will be getting full fringes cut and styled. If it hadn't occurred to you already, I have a full fringe and it's something I've had for over six years. I first got my fringe cut when I was 12 years old, after pestering my Mum for years to let me have one (the reason she'd been against it previously is because the growing out process can be such a pain). And since then, it's become a part of who I am. I don't know if it's a good thing but my fringe is the thing people remember me for. 

I would consider myself an expert on all things 'full fringe'; I've tried every technique, every product and every style. There's nothing I don't know. When I was 12 I really didn't look after my fringe and it was this greasy, string like thing covering my forehead; I look back on photos of myself and wonder what the hell I was thinking. However, as I grew older and took more pride in my appearance I picked up various techniques in order to keep my fringe looking perfect (most of the time). I base my hairstyle on my style icons Zoeey Deschannel and Audrey Hepburn; their effortless, natural beauty is something I find so inspiring. 

Most people keep their fringes for a month or two, get fed up of them and then start the painful growing out process. However, I've managed to keep up with mine for over six years and people always ask me how I do it, but it's really quite simple. This is why I'm going to give you my top tips for people with full fringes; what to ask for when you go for it cut and how to maintain it. 

1 ♥  Commit To Them

Whispy bangs are not the way forward. If you're 100% sure that you want a full fringe then you need to commit to it, none of this micro fringe or whispy fringe business. The main reason that I got my fringe cut was to cover my big forehead, and I got it cut to just underneath my eyebrows which is the common length. Full fringes all depend on your face shape so if you're not really sure if it's for you then ask your hair dresser and they'll give you their honest opinion. 

2 ♥ Wash it Everyday

There's nothing I hate more than having a greasy fringe and this will be a common problem for you. Because your fringe goes over your forehead, it collects the dirt and oil which can make it look greasy. In order to stop this, and to make sure your fringe looks flawless at all times, make sure you wash it everyday. I wash mine under the tap with a little bit of shampoo and then dry it as normal. If your fringe looks clean then it gives the illusion that the rest of your hair is clean too. Spray a bit of dry shampoo on your roots and you'll be good to go! 

3 ♥ Go for it Trimmed Regularly

This is the most time consuming thing about having a fringe, because it seems like the minute you go for it trimmed, it's grown again and you have to go back. I go for my fringe trimmed every two to three weeks in order to maintain it's length. Most hair dressers offer this service for free if you're a regular customer. However if you're not, fringe trims can cost between £3 and £5. 

4 ♥ Make sure your Hairdresser chips into it. 

When you go for your fringe cut, whether it be the first time or just for a trim, do not get a blunt fringe. These are harder to manage and style. Instead ask your hairdresser to chip into your fringe, this feathers it and prolongs the time until your next trim. Plus, it looks more natural. 

5 ♥ Curl it under

When your fringe starts to get long, it can get very annoying; you just want to clip it back and get it out of your face. I find it helpful to curl your fringe under with your straighteners, it might take a few go's to get it right but the more practice you have, the easier it becomes. 

6 ♥ Always carry a comb/brush

If there's one thing I hate, it's gaps in my fringe so I always make sure that I carry a brush/comb in my bag in case of emergencies. I'm like that girl in Pitch Perfect who is constantly brushing her fringe with a comb, I always have to make sure that it looks perfect. 

7 ♥ Hairspray is your friend

Another good way to keep your fringe looking perfect is to hairspray it before you go out. It keeps it in place all day, even in the wind and rain. 

8 ♥ Don't be frightened of it

A lot of people are scared of getting fringes, and true it is a big difference to your appearance, but you've got to embrace it. I promise it'll grow on you, and remember that if you don't like it, you can always grow it out. Google photos of people with fringes and learn what you like, what works and what doesn't. I really take inspiration from Zooey, she's the fringe style icon!

Fringes are a lot of work, more work than people first anticipate, but if you're willing to keep up with the fringe trims and the washing then it'll be one of the best decisions you'll make. Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

Before I was introduced to the masterpiece that is the foundation sponge, I would normally just apply my foundation with my fingers, or buff it in with a make up brush if I had more time on my hands. Sometimes, it would work amazingly, and my skin would look flawless, other times I wanted to bury myself in a hole and hide because I looked absolutely terrible. 

I was introduced to these sponges when I had my make-up done at the Dior counter in Debenhams. I've told you all about my Dior make-up experiences in my previous blog posts. I'd heard so many people speak about them, and rave about how amazing they were, but I just wasn't feeling it. There's just something about them that I didn't like; I guess I just thought they were pointless and I was very happy using my brushes, thankyou very much.

Well I can now say this sponge has literally changed the way I apply my foundation. I'm saying this like it's drastic, it's not really, and you probably all think I'm mad, but I can't believe that I'd never used these before. This is the Real Techniques 'Miracle Complexion' sponge. I got this for Christmas from my Mum in order to apply my new foundation. I always trust real techniques makeup brushes, every single make up brush I own has been made by them. In my opinion, they're the best. 

In terms of this product in particular, it's absolutely amazing. I use this to apply my Dior foundation only, and it applies it perfectly. It's perfect to cover the whole face and get into all the little places than a brush would normally miss. It also makes the foundation easier to blend, and build if that's what you want to do. I also particularly like the shape of the sponge. I use the flat end to apply my foundation, either by dabbing or stroking it on my face, and then I use the more pointed end to dab in my concealer under my eyes and over any blemishes I may have. It's really really soft too, so it feels lovely on the skin. 

I think one of the only doubts about this product is how I'm going to wash it. I feel like I'm one of the only females who finds washing their make up brushes quite therapeutic. I'd definitely recommend checking out this product, and if you're like me and don't want to use a sponge to apply foundation, just give it a chance, because it will change your life...literally.

Dior Addict Lipstick

As you probably know by now, I got quite a bit of makeup for Christmas.

I recently did a review of the DiorSkin Star foundation, which you can find here. In that review I explained how I had gone into Debenhams, and had been given a lovely makeover by one of the ladies at the Dior counter. When she had matched my foundation, she re-touched the make-up she had removed and tried various different lip colours on me. 

Finally, she decided on the Dior Addict Lipstick in the colour 226 Delight. It's the perfect natural shade of pink, and it really suited my skin tone. At only £26, this was the cheapest product on offer, and I was very close to purchasing it, but Mum said I should probably wait until Christmas. So, on Christmas morning, it came as a surprise when I opened this lovely new lipstick from Dior. 

As I have previously said, this is the perfect shade of pink, and the best part is, it's wearable in both summer and winter. I'm quite a lipstick addict, I love trying out new colours and new looks, and I think having a natural shade of pink is always an essential for any make up bag. Although this is on the higher end of make up products, it's definitely worth the money if you're willing to pay the amount. It makes your lips look glossy and soft, really healthy and natural. I wear this to go shopping, or even to Uni, it's very subtle which is why I love it so much. 

The packaging of the lipstick isn't something I had previously seen, at first I was a little confused as to how I could open it, but I think this adds to the whole uniqueness of the product. When the lady at the counter was applying it to my lips, she told me that this is actually one of Jennifer Lawrence's favourite lipsticks, so there's some news for you! The application of the lipstick itself is wonderful. I apply it one of two ways; either with a lip brush or without. I think it just depends what kind of look you're going for. I also don't think I'd recommend using a lip liner with this product, just because I think it would ruin the whole natural look. 

Overall, this is definitely one of my favourite high end lipsticks available at the moment. There are so many other colours too, so I would recommend checking them out!

Jimmy Choo: Flash

Perfume. It's one of the many essentials in a girls life. I think it's always important to smell nice, even if you're just nipping down to the shop for some milk. I always take a lot of pride in what perfume I use, and I love to experiment. My mum has the nicest collection of perfume in her room, so I have been known to steal that from time to time. 

It's not often you see a lot of perfume reviews on the internet, so I'm going to change that. I was very lucky this Christmas, and got a lot of lovely things from my friends and family, one of which was this perfume. This is Jimmy Choo 'Flash' and was one of the perfumes in my mum's collection. I tended to use her Chanel, but she knew I just wanted an everyday perfume so she thought this would be perfect. I  received this as a wonderful present on Christmas morning, and my mum definitely made the right decision. 

The scent isn't too strong, meaning that it's perfect for both the day time and the night time. I always wear perfume when I'm going out so I go through them quite quickly. The smell of this is absolutely gorgeous, it's got an elegance to it, but it's also got a nice fruity smell. I've been wearing this quite a lot, and I've got a lot of compliments from people asking me what perfume I have on and telling me I smell nice. When I'm not wearing this, I'm literally like a walking talking Soap & Glory section of Boots. 

I really like the shiny packaging of this product, I think it's really eye catching and it adds to the elegance. I think some products you buy, such as some celebrity scents, can smell "cheap" and not very nice, but this is absolutely gorgeous. It's also the perfect size to just keep in your bag, so if you need a little spritz during the day, then it's always there. I always take this to work with me. I love it! 

If you're looking to try out a new perfume then I would definitely recommend this!

Diorskin Star Foundation

I was browsing through Debenhams a couple of weeks ago in the makeup section. It's my favourite section of the store; it's just so pretty. My mum and I often take trips there to go and look at the new products and try out the new perfumes, it's like a tradition every time we go shopping. As we were walking through, a lady who worked behind the Dior counter approached me and asked me if I wore foundation. I said yes, and she offered me the chance to try out the new Dior Star Foundation. This offer came at the best time, because I was actually on the look out for a new foundation.

So, I headed over to the chair with my mum, who was very excited because she's always wanted to have her make-up done by a professional make up artist at the different counters you see around the store. The lady came along and started to take my make up off, this was because she was going to be matching the foundation to my skin. Once all the make up had been removed, she placed a little machine on my skin which then matched my foundation perfectly. And let me say, it really did. It made my skin look flawless, but at £36, it was a little too pricey for me and I reluctantly left it at the store.

On Christmas morning, I rushed down the stairs to see what would be surprising me in my stocking. Then, I found a little rectangular package. I'd told mum not to get me the foundation for Christmas because it was too expensive and I didn't want her spending a lot on me. But, when I opened the little package, there was the foundation I'd tried on, and loved, at the Dior counter.

Now, onto the review! I honestly love this foundation. It has a really natural coverage which is build-able if your skin is having a little bit of an off day, which lets be honest, is going to happen at some point this year. It has an SPF of 30 which is perfect if you're going to be wearing it during the day. The application itself is perfect, I've started to use one of those really cool sponges. I can't see myself applying foundation with anything else. Plus, you only need a few pumps of the foundation to cover the whole of your face, so I can see this lasting me quite a while. The packaging looks so professional, and as this is one of the first high brand make-up items I have owned, I'm going to be looking after it a lot. Although this is on the pricier side, I would definitely recommend it if you're looking to try out a new foundation. I would also say to get it matched to your skin before you purchase it, just so that you know you're getting the right colour.

I love how natural this makes my skin look. I wore it to a New Year Party and I got a lot of compliments about how smooth and lovely my foundation looked. It also provides the perfect base so add on bronzer, highlighter and blusher. And, here's the best part, it actually stays! My make-up lasted the whole night, it didn't even move; perfect! I honestly can't rave about this foundation enough. I'm still going to be using my trusty No.7 foundation during the day time, but I will be wearing this on special occasions and when I feel like having a good make-up day. Wow, I wish everyday was a good make-up day.

Where Have You Been?

It's been about three weeks since I last posted on this blog, and I've really really missed it.

I always said that I'd post a lot on here because I was studying writing at Uni, but since my assignments have been flooding in, I haven't even had chance to prepare one single blog post and that upsets me a lot. So, first, I would like to say that I'm sorry. I promise I'm going to post so much on here in the next few weeks! It's been so hectic with Uni, and then work. If you didn't know, I currently work for Disney Store; it's been a job I've wanted since I was a little girl so it really means the world to be to be able to say that once in my life, I worked for the Walt Disney Company. When Uni finished, I was then whisked home to spend time with my family who I haven't seen in a very long time and then it was Christmas! It's been insane!

The next thing I'd like to say is Merry Christmas!! I can't believe how quickly this year has passed, I mean it only seems like two seconds ago when I was writing my blog post about the highlights of 2014, and now I'm in the process of writing about my favorite parts of this year. I hope you all had a really lovely Christmas, I know I did. I got some really lovely presents and was able to spend the day with my family and friends, which meant the world to me. I got some amazing beauty products for Christmas, so keep your eyes peeled for some reviews coming in the New Year!

So, for now, what I'd like to say, is that I'm back and blogging again and to be expecting a lot of blog posts in the coming months. I'm really excited to get back blogging again, and I hope you guys continue to enjoy the posts as much as I love writing them!

Rimmel 'Stay Matte' Powder Review

After seeing so many different beauty bloggers rave about this powder, I thought it was about time I tried it out. I've been getting bored of the powder I was previously using; it just wasn't working for me anymore and was making my skin look shiny within the hour. 

Because there was an offer on in Superdrug, which I raved about in one of my previous blog posts, I thought that I'd treat myself to some more new make up products. I'm all about trying new things at the moment, I know my student loan won't thank me for it later, but it's always good to treat yourself (at least that's what I keep telling myself). 

So, I picked up some of the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in the colour 001 Transparent. I love Rimmel powders, it's the only drug store brand I trust because they're so affordable and always so amazing. Also, because I'm quite pale, and go for a natural make up look anyway, I chose the colour transparent because it helps to enhance this feature. Plus, when you add on bronzer and blusher, your skin gets colour anyway so it makes no difference. I always choose transparent because it's that one colour you can never go wrong with. 

I must say, I really do love this powder. It lasts for so long. I've worn it for my 9-5 days at University and my make-up has lasted all day. It's like maximum strength or something, my make-up just doesn't move and there is no sign of shine, which is the best thing. I've also just realised that that rhymed! The powder doesn't clog up pores either, which means no more blocked up skin and no more horrible spots popping up when you really don't want them too. Anyways, here's a random little fact for you, the one thing I love about this powder is the smell. It smells like summer, like sun-cream. I was applying it onto my face the other day and I was thinking "oooh something smells nice, it smells like summer in here" and when push comes to shove, it was actually my powder. I think this is why I like applying it so much, just plainly because of the smell. I know, how weird. 

If you're looking for a cheaper, alternative powder then I would definitely give this one a try. It's only £3.99 in the Rimmel sections of the drug stores which is a bargain if you ask me. Being a student on a budget, I just love products that are absolutely amazing, and work wonders, but don't break the bank. They save my life.

Rimmel London 'The Only 1' Lipstick Review

 

I've never really been a lipstick kind of girl; bold colours drew too much attention to my face, yet nude colours made me look pale. I just couldn't win. But, as I got older, my face became more defined and I started to experiment with different lip colours. My main lip colour to go for is either a berry or a red, these colours suit me the best. My favourite lipstick, and my go-to lipstick for anything, is the Rimmel 107, and, up to now, it's one of the only lipsticks I owned. 

I was browsing through Instagram the other day, and I noticed Rimmel London advertising their new brand of lipsticks. I've been wanting to try out a new colour of lip for quite some time, I wanted to get away from the dark colours, because sometimes they look a bit too bold for just a normal day at Uni or going for a coffee with friends. I've been looking for the perfect nude pink. And now I think I've found it. When I was scrolling through, this one colour took my eye and I knew immediately that I needed to go out and buy it. 

So, I strolled into Superdrug (which has a three for two offer on at the moment), and went straight to the Rimmel section, only to find a variety of colours in this new lipstick. I was literally spoilt for choice. In the end, I chose the shade '200' which is called 'It's A Keeper'. 

This is the perfect natural pink shade. It's the best for the day, if you're just going for a completely natural look but still want something that adds a little bit of a statement to your look. I really prefer the shape of this lipstick, it's much easier to apply and it feels so soft on the lips. This colour is beautiful, and it lasts for ages. It's got a small shimmer too which means it could be worn on a night out if the dark colours just aren't your thing. The lipstick itself makes your lips look very hydrated, healthy and natural which is the perfect look. Another thing I really like about this is the packaging, it looks so classy and it's just a nice size that you can fit in your handbag, it's not too big but not too small either.

Although this lipstick is £6.99, it's well worth the price and I would definitely recommend it. Even if you don't get this colour, definitely get this type of lipstick because it's perfect. I can't rave about it enough. Plus it's best to go out and purchase it now whilst Superdrug have an offer on all the make up. It'd be a nice shade to wear with lip liner too, if you do want a more bold look, but the lipstick on it's own is perfect for a natural look. 

Definitely a five star rating.

New Ideas and Giveaway?

Hello Everyone!

A new blog post to start a new month! :)
I'm going to apologise in advance for this post being a little bit of a ramble, but there are a couple of things I really want to address. As you may, or may not, have noticed, the header and theme for my blog has changed a little bit. I wanted to make my blog a little more professional and I felt that my previous design had a little bit too much going on. I hope you guys don't think this is too plain and that you really like it. 

Also, after some events at University, I now have a lot more time on my hands. In fact, way more time than I ever expected to have. This means that I can focus on my blog, and seeing as I'm doing a creative writing degree, it fits in perfectly. Sometimes, my posts get quite a lot of views, and a lot of people really seem to like them, however others get minimal views. I would like to know the type of thing that you guys like to see on a blog, the type of things you read and the content you would like to see me post. I get bloggers block quite frequently so if you leave me some responses in the comments that would be really brilliant, 

If it's the giveaway that's brought you to this page, then this is what I'm going to talk about now. I'm coming up to my 100th blog post, and that's very weird. I'm never normally a person to stick to particular things, but with this blog, it's been something I've really looked after. I take it seriously and see it as my own little place on the internet where I can be myself and have my own voice. I love buying new beauty products, testing them out and writing a review for people to read. It's one of my favourite things. Anyway, onto the giveaway. As some of you know, I've been really loving the Revolution Make Up Collection recently, and I was thinking of doing some form of giveaway of some of their products to a lucky person who reads my blog. I think it'd be a really cool thing to do, so you should let me know what you think about that! :)

Revolution Iconic 3 Eye shadow Pallet

Hello Everyone!

For a very, very, VERY long time, I have wanted the Urban Decay Naked 3 eyeshadow pallet. I really loved the natural pink shades, but it's around £30, and being a student, it's not something I can really afford. I'm not a massive wearer of eyeshadow, so I was unsure if I should treat myself to the pallet because if I don't use it a lot, it would be a waste of money.

I was browsing Superdrug a couple of days ago, just doing some makeup shopping, when I came across the revolution makeup collection. I found this beautiful eye shadow pallet, very very similar, if not identical to the Urban Decay pallet. Here's the best part, it's only £4! I immediately knew that I had to pick it up and honestly, it's the best decision I made. 

The colours in the pallet are absolutely gorgeous, they're perfect if you want to create a really natural look, or a smokey eye. They have a beautiful coverage and they stay on for a very long time. The pale pinks are perfect for the day time, and the darker colours are lovely to wear if you're going on a night out. A look I'm wearing a lot at the moment is the third colour (from the left) with the eighth colour (from the left). If you blend those two together, it creates a beautiful shade. The glittery shades when combined with matte shades create a bronzed, metallic look. I'm really really loving the variety of eye makeup looks I can do with this pallet, especially for autumn/winter.

The only thing I didn't really like is the brush that comes with the pallet. It's not amazing, and I wouldn't recommend using it. Instead, I would recommend to get the Real Techniques eye shadow brushes because they're some of the best on the market and they're not too expensive either. 

This is not the only pallet that the revolution makeup brand sell, they make a lot of other pallets, some of them mimicking the urban decay pallets. So, if you're on a budget or if you're unsure if you'll use the colours in the urban decay pallet then I would definitely recommend a purchase of this beautiful pallet.

University Room Tour

Hello Everyone!

As some of you know, I've finally moved to University, and as promised I'm going to do a little room tour for you all. My flat isn't the biggest; as there are only four of us living here, we have one of the smallest flats in the block, but that means we can make it really cosy and cute. I'm living in an all girls flat with three others, and they're all so lovely. I've been in Liverpool for a week now, and honestly, I really like it here. It's one of the loveliest cities in the world, so if you're thinking of moving here to University then I would definitely recommend it! 

When I first knew that I was moving out, I wanted my room to feel as much like home as possible (Does that make sense?). This is why you'll see little things from home, such as photos, flowers and of course a lot of Disney. I've seen some University rooms which are extremely dark and this is one thing I hated. I've tried to make my room as bright as possible. I think my favourite things in my room are my polaroid wall and the display I have in my window; these are the things that remind me of home the most and they represent me very well. Also, the view from my flat, which you can see pictured above, is one of the most beautiful things. I can't even begin to tell you how lucky I am to be able to watch the gorgeous sunsets over Albert Dock each night.

Garnier Ultimate Blends: The Strength Restorer

Hello Everyone!

Today I'm going to be talking about all things hair. If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that my hair is like my child. It's probably the thing I'm bothered the most about when it comes to my appearance. I used to have really long hair, but then I got it chopped off and I started to heat style it a lot. It lost a lot of it's strength and now I have very fine, very thin hair. 

I've been looking to try out a new shampoo and conditioner for a while now. I wanted something that would leave my hair in good condition and feeling a lot stronger. However, I've never been able to find anything, there's nothing that's good enough for me to use and everything I have tried has left my hair feeling sticky or just hasn't worked. That is until I was introduced to the Garnier Ultimate Blends range.

My friends have raved about this collection for such a long time, but I've always been hesitant to try it as I thought the natural products would make my hair look greasy. Recently, they've been on offer in Superdrug so I decided to purchase some and give them a try. I bought the 'Strength Restorer' shampoo and conditioner 'Honey Treasures'. It's made for fragile hair which is prone to breakage, perfect for me! It also contains royal jelly and honey propolis which helps to strengthen hair and leave it soft and smooth.

I can truly say that this is now my favourite range of hair care products at the moment. The shampoo and conditioner smell absolutely gorgeous, I've actually had people complimenting on the smell of my hair which is really nice. After the application of the conditioner, your hair feels so silky soft and smooth, and then when you blow dry it, it looks so shiny and healthy. It also made my hair a lot more manageable when it came to styling too which was a huge bonus! As for the strength and condition of my hair; I didn't really notice much of a change within the first few days of using it, however, after two weeks of using the products, my hair feels a lot stronger and in really good condition. It's reduced the appearance of my split ends and my hair just feels a lot healthier so overall, I'm really really happy.

The Garnier Ultimate Blends Collection do a lot more products for all different types of hair and if you're looking to change your hair care routine a little bit, then I would definitely recommend trying these out because they are AMAZING!

Simple Micellar Cleansing Water

This is the beauty craze that seems to be on everyone's lips. Every night, I see an advertisement for some form of micellar cleansing water, and I've always wondered if it would ever do the job for me. If you don't know what this is, it is basically a water that you put onto a cotton pad, wipe gently across your face and it will remove your makeup whilst cleansing your skin. Sounds perfect right?

I've always been a girl to use make up wipes, and until now, I never really had a facial skin care routine. I'd been very reluctant to try this water, because I'd been hearing mixed reviews and I wasn't going to pay a lot of money for something that wasn't going to work for me. Recently,I plucked up the courage and went to buy some of this water. Immediately I went to the Simple brand. I live by Simple, the majority of my skincare comes from the Simple range as I know that I can trust them to use all natural products and really look after my skin. 

I have to say, I am very very impressed with this water. It is like my holy grail make-up remover. I didn't think it was going to work, I'm not going to lie, but when I applied it to a cotton pad and wiped  it across my skin, my make-up came straight off; no questions asked. I loved the way that it didn't leave my skin feeling dry and sticky like most make-up wipes, instead my skin felt cleansed and revitalised. There is no better feeling than taking your make-up off after a long day. 

After trying this water on both heavy and minimal make-up, I can now say that it removes literally anything. Yesterday, I was applying mascara, and I sneezed (you probably know what's coming) which made my mascara go all around my eye. I simply got a cotton earbud, dripped a few little specs of the water onto it and gently wiped around the area where things had gone wrong. You would never have known that I would have sneezed. Not only is it perfect for removing make-up all together, it's also perfect for correcting those little mistakes, especially with eye make-up. 

Would I recommend people to get this? If you're looking for an affordable brand, then yes definitely.

Disney Bows | The Cutest Things Ever!!

Hello Everyone!

As many of you know, a few months ago, I went to Disneyland Paris on a girls holiday with three of my friends. Before we went, we decided that we wanted to get something that was really unique that we could wear alongside our Mickey Mouse ears in the park. It was at that point that we came across theses beautiful bows that are made by a lovely lady called Ashley. We immediately knew that these were what we wanted and headed over to her Etsy site to take a look at what she had on offer. 

Well, we were literally spoilt for choice. Ashley makes so many different Disney bows, including some that represent the different rides and hotels in the park. It took us a good few hours to decide which bows we wanted, every 5 minutes we said "Oh my God look it's Flounder" or "Oh  my God look it's Belle". In the end we all chose our different bows. Instead of getting the larger bows, we opted for the mini bows because we found a really good deal on her website. Always keep checking her website because she constantly updates it with offers and new bows. As you can tell from the photo above, I opted for the Peter Pan and Mermaid Lagoon Bows. 

When they arrived, they were of excellent condition and they looked absolutely gorgeous. It was very clear that so much effort and care had been put into making them. The clips fit in my hair perfectly, however next time I think I am going to get some of the larger bows just because I want a nice mix. Every single one of the bows we received were so well complimented and everyone recognised which character's bow we were wearing. Every single one of the bows represents the character so well and they can only be described as beautiful. I'm definitely going to be starting a collection of Disney bows because they're just so cute and I cannot get enough of them

If you're a Disney fanatic or are going on holiday to Disney soon then I would recommend getting some of these bows for your trip because they're perfect and they make the experience just a little more fun and magical. You are guaranteed to find your favourite character on her website, and if not, she takes custom orders too so you're not too worry.

Zoella Beauty: Kissy Missy Lip Balm Review

Hello Everyone!

Recently, beauty blogger and YouTube sensation Zoe Sugg, known to many as Zoella, released some new products in her 'Zoella Beauty' range. This new range is available to buy in Superdrug at the moment. Whilst doing some retail therapy, I picked up one of the products in her new line and this was the 'Kissy Missy Lip Balm' for £3.

Before I purchased the product, I'd heard quite a lot of good reviews about it so I was expecting quite a lot. Firstly, I must say that the presentation of the product is brilliant. It's so colourful and bright therefore it really catches your attention. In her new range, Zoe's new products have the 'Tutti Fruiti' smell, and  I must say that this lip balm smells absolutely amazing. Sadly, I would say that this is probably only one of the good things about the product.

On application, the colour didn't even show up on my lips which meant that I needed to apply more than you would expect from a normal lip balm. When I had applied a suitable amount of the product, I found the colour to not be satisfactory. It was extremely bright and in my opinion, looked quite cheap. I don't know if it was the colour that didn't suit me as a person, but I really didn't think that it was up to scratch. I expected a bit more from the product, especially seeing as Tanya Burr's beauty collection is of such good quality.

I know I may get a lot of people who disagree with me because of this review, and please don't think I have anything against Zoe because I really don't. I'm just giving my honest opinion. Would I buy this product again? No, personally for me, it was a waste of £3.
